David Mui
In addition to my professional background, I volunteer at The ECHO Leahy Center, which I believed has helped me grow as an individual as well as refine my ability to work in diverse teams and build meaningful connections. I’m looking for opportunities to bring my skill set into new environments where creativity and growth are at the forefront.

Designed specifically towards the needs of fisherman, the product is intended for ease of access while out at sea.
Glowport
The bottom of the lantern holds a shutter function to access a focus light. Having the lantern upright against a wall allows for hands-free use of the focus lighting, creating a space where the fisherman has optimal light for threading hooks and securing bait.
Second, is the handle, which acts as both the back support and the clamping mechanism. A gap in the bar allows for a pole or a railing to pass through, and pressing down again will allow the lantern to lock the pole into place.
The design stands as a prototype.
Where if it were to be fully manufactured. I would imagine it would come much smaller and lighter. A simple aluminum frame and a squeeze clamp mechanism would go ways along for the project.
